Happy New Year to you all! I hope you had a great festive season, I’m feeling very relaxed and reinvigorated and ready for all that 2012 brings.
I recently came across the beautiful gowns by Deborah Selleck of Melbourne, and just had to share. Deborah’s designs are inspired by the 1940s and 50s and her signature look is distinctive of a bygone era, one of sophistication and ethereal glamour.
Here is a look at some of her stunning range (I wish I could get married again just to wear one of these gorgeous gowns!).
The Kalgoorlie gown utilises offcuts of precious laces and jewelery in a random effect over the bodice and skirt of this tissue silk organza gown the final result is a one of a kind design that is recreated differently for each bride. The Caledonia gown is inspired by the colors of sunset reflecting over the South Pacific sea. The imported Calais French lace is draped over a latte silk satin and tissue silk organza that shimmers as it moves around the body. The back features a dramatic sun ray pleated train in tissue silk organza.
