My trip to Paris

It’s been a few weeks since I’ve posted as I’ve had a whirlwind visit to London and Paris and just returned on Monday – I’m still trying to get over the jetlag!  However, I thought I’d write a quick wedding related summary of my trip to Paris.

As we all know, Paris is the city of love, and it’s pretty obvious when you visit – couples madly in love, and wedding couples having their photos taken.  One couple was on the riverbank at night with the glowing Eiffel Tower behind them – how wonderful would that be?

I saw one couple partaking in the tradition of fixing an engraved padlock to a bridge and then throwing the key into the river as a sign of their undying love.

I saw so many amazing places that would make perfect backdrops to weddings – I particularly love the palace at Versailles, such stunning gardens – imagine having your wedding photos taken here!

I also visited Laduree for some delicious macarons – check out their gorgeous window with their macaron towers…

After visiting Versailles, I’ve been really inspired by Marie Antoinette, so expect to see some Marie Antoinette inspiration coming your way in the future.

Until next time, au revoir!
