Pink and Turquoise Wedding Theme

I came across this pretty colour theme this week on Weddings by Lilly and I have to say, it’s not normally colours I’d put together myself, but it works so well.  I think the blue glass is lovely and these two colours together are just perfect for a vintage or shabby chic wedding.

I’ve never seen blue or turquoise glass – not a lot came up when I searched ebay either so may have to hunt around for it.  Another idea might be a DIY project I’ve come across which I’ll post in the next few days – you can colour glass jars or vases any colour you want.

Anyhow, for now enjoy these gorgeous pink and torquoise pics.

Shabby chic centerpieces

I adore these table centerpieces by wedding stylist Jennifer Sue Weddings – they’re so pretty and perfect for a shabby chic/garden wedding.

These would be fairly easy to make yourself using Vintage Wedding Style’s Modern Decorative Birdcage – simply fill with beautiful pastel roses and greenery.

For a more dramatic look (or a black and white themed wedding), you could use our Round Decorative Birdcage (in black) and fill it with white roses and black and white feathers – to add a 1920s touch.

Luxe Vintage Bridal Shower

I love, love, love the vintage style of this bridal shower at the beach front hotel Casa Del Mar in Santa Monica, California.  Created by event planner Linda Pittelli of Eventful Designing it has a charming vintage/shabby chic/Parisian feel.  Head on over to Junebug Weddings for all the gorgeous details.

New vintage style products

We’ve had some more lovely vintage-styled products arrive in-store this week, and we’ll have even more arriving in February.

I’m also working on some designs, including some hand-stamped gift tags and wrist corsages which hopefully will be on the site by the end of the month.

In the meantime, I’ll leave you with a look at some of our new products.

This pretty rose design crystal buckle is perfect for your wedding bouquet or use as shoe clips:

These celebration banners are so pretty, they come in either ‘Just Married’ or ‘Thank You’ (unfortunately not in stock just yet but should arrive in the next few weeks):

These white metal cones would be perfect for a shabby chic wedding – use them to decorate your pews or chairs.

Again perfect for a shabby chic wedding, these French Provincial style enamel pitchers would make great table centrepieces. And finally, these one-use cameras are not yet on the website but have just arrived in stock and will be on the site soon – they have a great vintage style – perfect for an old Hollywood theme.
